On cloud 9 2day! Took part in my first ever showjumping event (that’s the human version – the horses have their own event at the same time: dodging fences and knocking off riders!). Managed to clear all 9 fences in 73 secs without being tossed to the muddy ground! Not perfect timing as he refused to jump obstacle nº 8 and I had to go back and do it again. Nonetheless, a very satisfactory result for a first-timer!! Will probably try again 2morrow if it’s not pouring!

I’m finally back!! The blow to my head must have done the trick – knocked some sense into it
Thought I’d share some pix of my last riding class (before and after my fall!). Apart from this minor incident, I’m loving it so much that I’ve already ‘infected’ 3 friends to join me!
As I posted on microblog, last week I took part in my first ever showjumping event. Since I had nobody to take pix, had to wait for the photographer to send me his. Got them yesterday!
